Expectations is an entertaining read by author Liz Borino. It centers around twin brothers Chris and Matt Taylor. Chris is a photographer that finds true love with his best friend, Aiden. Matt is trying to follow in his father's footsteps, but is terribly unhappy. Their father was very hard on them, and both men have issues with him.
The book is a wonderful love story for Chris and Aiden; and in the course of finding his happiness, Matt meets a wonderful girl, Carley. As in real life, however, even though you can be very happy, nothing is smooth sailing.
Expectations is very well-written, with three-dimensional characters that you really get attached to. Luckily, this is only the first book, so you can follow their continued adventures when you've finished this one. The dialogue is realistic, and you feel as if you're part of the action.
This is a wonderful read that I urge you to pick up.
